Terms and Conditions

Voxlate is a web service that generates Spanish subtitles from audio or video files. The process consists of: (a) transcription of the audio into English using Groq, and (b) translation into Spanish using Google Gemini. The result is a subtitle file (.ass or .srt) that you can download from your account.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• You may only have one active account per person.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and do not include local taxes.

• Free: 5 minutes of processing per week, at no cost.
• Small: USD $2.00 · up to 30 minutes · a single file.
• Medium: USD $5.00 · up to 60 minutes · a single file.
• Large: USD $10.00 · up to 180 minutes · a single file.
• Pro: USD $8.00/month · 300 minutes per billing period.
• Business: USD $15.00/month · 1,500 minutes per billing period.

Subscription plan minutes do not roll over between periods. Pay-per-file plan minutes apply to a single file and are not transferable.

• By confirming the subscription, you authorize the monthly charge of the amount corresponding to your plan.
• The charge is made on the same day of each month on which you activated the subscription.
• If the price of a plan changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
• If the payment fails, we retry the charge for 3 days. If the problem persists, your plan is suspended and you can reactivate it by updating your payment method.

• When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid.
• We do not give partial refunds for unused days of the current period.
• Pay-per-file plans are non-refundable once the file has started processing.

The service is for generating subtitles for content that you own or have the right to process. You may not use Voxlate to:

• Process content that infringes third-party copyrights without authorization.
• Upload illegal material (content involving minors, inciting hatred, etc.).
• Reverse engineer the service or extract data in an automated way.
• Resell or redistribute the service without written authorization.
• Attempt to breach the security of the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these conditions, without prior notice and without refund.

The subtitles generated from your content belong to you. Voxlate does not claim ownership of your files or of the subtitles produced.

Voxlate's code, design and brand are the property of the service and may not be copied or used without authorization.

Translations are generated by artificial intelligence models. We do not guarantee absolute accuracy in technical terminology, regional dialects or highly specialized content. Review the subtitles before professional or public use.

We do not guarantee a specific uptime. The service may be interrupted for maintenance or due to failures of external providers (Groq, Google). If the service cannot process a file for technical reasons on our side, we will refund the corresponding credits.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voxlate will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the service in the last 3 months.

If the changes are material (pricing, cancellation policy, licenses), we will notify you by email at least 15 days in advance. If you continue using the service after that date, you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the user's place of residence for consumers, or by Colombian law for commercial relationships. Disputes will first be resolved through direct communication with legal@voxlate.app.
